Luciano grew up in Mashpee, on Cape Cod, and Attleboro, Massachusetts. He graduated from Providence College in 2007 with a degree in Music Education. During his time at Providence he was involved in many groups and organizations including I Cantori and the Summer Vocal Institute. During the summer months he traveled to Russia and Western Europe with Providence's touring choir.
Luciano is currently the choral director in the Foster-Glocester school district at Ponaganset High School, where he has built upon the choral program started by Beverly Tinkham, scoring high in festivals and bringing musicals back to the school with the wildly successful "Cinderella, The Enchanted Edition."
Luciano joined the staff of La Gondola in the summer of 2011. He holds the great distinction of being one of only three gondoliers with actual Italian blood. What's more, he is the only gondolier who is a singer first and a gondolier second. He has inspired all of the other gondoliers to practice their vocal stylings, and is a true teacher to the whole LGP crew, always ready to help improve their singing with tips and tricks.
Also noteworthy is that Luciano has made himself available to La Gondola not only as a gondolier, but also as a baritone vocalist for the Rapsodia package, so our guests can choose to hear more of his brilliant voice. He lives in Attleboro with the fair Kait, his wife, and Lillian, their daughter.
